Quick Update.

Please be aware that I am a member of several sites and enjoy trying new things.  I hope to get better and more frequent at sharing my opinions when the chance arises with the products I try.  I'm open to suggestion for new sites to try or questions. At this time I am not participating in the bzzagent program. Although I enjoyed what they had to offer and the programs I was able to participate in, I found that their customer service was lacking when they had issues with an agent.  More or less, I asked if something was allowed, was told that it was then later accused of things that weren't true.  After numerous attempts to try and resolve the issue and providing the requested information it became clear that although I was a dedicated member and did all they asked of me, that they did not value my participation.  I will not elaborate any further and do not feel there is a need to.  I still highly recommend the program, but would tell you to proceed with caution.

I have had good luck with all the above companies, and would suggest any one of them for you to try. Again, if you have questions, please send them my way!

I recently decided to check out Influenster.com, as with most programs that state they will let you try free stuff for in return for your opinion you just never know until the first box comes.   The first item I was chosen to try is the Ivory 2-IN-1 Hair & Body Wash.  I was a little hesitant to try it, because well, I'm picky and don't use my shampoo all over my body and vice versa.  I used it for a few days and although I enjoyed the product I do have sensitive skin and found that I became a little itchy, as did my two young daughters.  So I decided to hand it over to their Dad.  

So after a week, I asked him how this trial period went.  He told me that going into it he was concerned that it wouldn't clean as well as his normal shampoo and body wash.  He works in construction and lets be honest, some of those guys get pretty rank!  He said overall he was quite pleased.   It cleaned just as well as his regular shampoo & body wash, and was more than happy to "skip a step".  He also said that it was nice to have one bottle vs two taking up space.  He's decided it's a product to keep around and was glad to get my left overs!  Lucky for him there was no sensitivity issues for him.

Cruel Summer

It's been a cruel summer! Haven't been doing much in the communities lately, but trying to get back at it. Had an medical emergency with one of my kiddos over the summer that placed her in the hospital for a week, and out of commission roughly a month total... then diet rehab of sorts. SO here's to new beginings :)

Crowdtap Sample and Share: Old Navy Outerwear.

Okay, so I don't recall mentioning Crowdtap. Crowdtap is another word of mouth company with a twist. They state the following in their "about me" area of their site:

"Crowdtap is the network for Brand Influencer Communities. Crowdtap allows marketers to easily collaborate with and mobilize their targeted brand crowd of influential consumers for real-time research, collaboration or powerful word-of-mouth marketing."

With that being said and without going into a ton of detail for this review (we'll save it for another time). I'll just get right to it.

Back in October I was advised by Crowdtap that I was accepted into the Outerware Sample and Share. I was really excited because I had been eyeing up peacoats for some time but had yet to break down and buy one. This was perfect. I quickly received my "kit" from Crowdtap. A welcome letter and my coupon along with a coupon to share witha friend. I thought this was totally awesome as the coupon was good for any woman's outerwar item. I personally went with the Wool-Blend Double vested coat in black. It's a comfortable mid length coat that blocks the wind, keeps you warm with out being overly hot, and can be dressed up for a night on the town, ro dressed up for quick shopping trip in blue jeans. My friend used her coupon for a Cropped Wool-Blend in red plaid. No regrets here so far. Guess we'll wait to see how cold mother nature wants to go. Today my Root candles showed up. If you remember a couple weeks ago I posted asking BzzAgent to allow me to review this product. Well here it is!
